Which data must operators share?
The manager opens the national access point's portal and searches for the new charger. It is there: location, connectors, power, and a live status.

Operators must make these data available at no cost from 14 April 2025.
One interface, open to all
Each operator sets up an application programming interface that gives free and unrestricted access to the data and reports it to the . Each Member State also appoints an , which issues ID codes to operators and mobility service providers. Apps, maps, navigation systems and researchers can then use the same data.
No personal data
The data are about infrastructure, not about drivers: where a charger is, whether it works, what it costs. Personal data from sessions stay with the operator and the provider and fall under data protection law.
