National access point

A digital interface set up by a Member State as a single point of access to data, including charging infrastructure data under AFIR.

Explained in

Regulations and compliance · Stop 05Which data must operators share?Location, power, status, availability, price and renewable share: the data AFIR asks operators to publish, how, and to whom.

Each operator sets up an application programming interface that gives free and unrestricted access to the data and reports it to the national access points. Each Member State also appoints an identification registration organisation, which issues ID codes to operators and mobility service providers. Apps, maps, navigation systems and researchers can then use the same data.
